‘Everything in Everywhere at Same Time’ auction raises R$ 2.8 million

Sensational since 2022, the film “Everything in Every Place at the Same Time” has left more and more people addicted to its story (find out where to watch it here), won statuettes at the Critics Choice Awards and is now in the running for 11 Oscars.

Many moviegoers always want a “little piece” of their favorite movie, and in the case of “Everything, Everywhere at the Same Time,” that’s exactly what happened. An online auction of items from the work was held and closed this Thursday (2).

43 pieces were used in the scene, which raised 555.7 thousand US dollars (about R$ 2.8 million), which were donated to charities (find out which ones below). Some of the most prized items were a Raccacoonie raccoon doll, which sold for US$90,000 (R$468,000) – the highest price paid at the auction, the puppet (a “hot dog” prosthetic hand), sold for US $55 thousand (R $256 thousand), among others.

In an interview with the New York Times, Jason Kisvarday, production designer at studio A24, said he was surprised by the final value of some of the objects. “There’s usually no demand or interest in stuff like that after a movie comes out,” he revealed.

In all, three institutions will benefit from the auction: the Asian Mental Health Project, the Transgender Law Center and the Laundry Workers Center.
