Canal+ broadcasts this Monday, March 6, two new unreleased episodes of Django, a contemporary Western that takes us straight to the Wild West, 1860s and 1870s. For this occasion, Matthias Schoenaerts portrays Django, a man haunted by the murder of his family eight years ago, who continues to search for his daughter, hoping she escaped the massacre.
He was very surprised to find her in New Babylon, who is going to marry John. Convinced that the city is in danger, Django is adamant: he won’t risk losing his daughter again.
An adventure to the original film
Like Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning Django Unchained, Django’s creators Leonardo Fasoli (ZeroZeroZero) and Maddalena Ravagli were inspired by Sergio Corbucci’s 1966 Italian film of the same name.
In a tribute to the original work, Franco Nero, the translator of the original Django, will appear in episode 7 of the series, which will be broadcast tonight at 9.10pm on Canal+.

In Django, Matthias Schoenaerts responds to Germany’s Lisa Vicar (The Dark), who plays his daughter Sarah for the occasion, as well as Nicholas Pinnock (For Life) and Noomi Rapace (Sherlock Holmes, Prometheus), who are respectively mistaken. The skin of Ruthless John Ellis and Elizabeth, the enemy of the latter.
