Another package of jewels was allegedly delivered to Planalto in the Bolsonaro government, according to a receipt accessed by CNN, this Sunday (05).

Antonio Carlos Ramos de Barros Melloadviser to the former Minister of Mines and Energy Bento Albuquerque, he allegedly handed over a case, containing Chopard-branded items, such as a rose gold masbaha, a leather strap watch, and a pair of cufflinks. Plus a rose gold pen and ring, according to CNN.

The objects were handed over to the Assistant Historical Documentation Office on October 29, 2021. Erick Moutinho Borgescoordinator of that office and responsible for receiving the items at the time, was the one who signed the receipt accessed by CNN.

For CNN, a member of the former president reported on the jewels delivered during the Bolsonaro government, “These objects have been incorporated into the public collection, in the same way as the others [apreendidos pela Receita Federal] that would be too much”.

“I am accused of a gift which I neither asked for nor received. There is no illegality on my part. I have never practiced illegality. See my personal company card. I have never withdrawn or paid a cent on that card”, he said Jair Bolsonaro on CNN on Saturday (04).
