In an interview with ‘Polygon’ Michael B. Jordan confessed all the famous anime references he got when creating the story of ‘Creed III’.
He said that his biggest reference to create the feud between Adoni and Damian in his new movie was Naruto and Sasuke from “Naruto”, since they are great friends turned rivals.
However, he stated that characters from other anime also helped shape this relationship between the protagonists of “Creed III,” such as Goku and Vegeta from “Dragon Ball Z” and Bakugo and Midoriya from “My Hero Academy.”
