The novelty for 2023 concerns the pre-compiled declaration, which uses data from other platforms to enter information and skip some steps: this time, all taxpayers with a profile on Gov.br will be able to use the model from 15 March. Furthermore, those who opt for this method will have priority in the return lots queue.

Between March 9 and 15, you can already start filling in all the details and prepare your submission for the start of the deadline. See below for the step-by-step procedure to install the software on your PC.

How to download and install the IRPF 2023 software on Windows

1. Login gov.br/receitafederal/pt-br/central-de-conteudo/download/pgd/dirpf and click “Download program”;






2. Open the file in EXE format and authorize access;
3. In the installation window, choose the location to store the files and click “Next”;





4. Proceed through the screens until installation is complete. At the end of the process it is still possible to create an icon on the desktop to access the software;
5. Open the IRPF application and start filling out the declaration. You can log in with your Gov.br account to access versions from previous years.

The 2023 Income Statement can also be made by computer, at the address Linux or from Macor on cell phones, via Android or iPhone. If you use the Gov.br account, you need to upgrade to Gold or Silver security tiers.
