Redmi Note 12 in its 4G variant has the same design as its 5G brother, offering a 120Hz AMOLED screen and an updated 50MP rear camera

The profile on Instagram @topgamard, from a store in the Dominican Republic, has published the images of the new Redmi Note 12 in its variant with only support for 4G networks. This specific variant has some different features from the already known Redmi Note 12 5G, such as the 50MP main rear camera instead of a 48MP sensor, according to a leaked table.
That is why it is possible to identify that the model in the images will only support 4G connection. In the photos, you can see on the packaging that one of its highlights will be the triple rear camera system, led by a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by an ultrawide lens camera and another macro lens.
Other confirmed specs include a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass protection, an unnamed Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Visually, it maintains the flat finish design on the sides and back cover of the Indian Redmi Note 12 5G, with a rectangular rear module housing three cameras.
However, the LED flash is in a different position, popping out the bottom of the module, to be inside a circle above one of the cameras. Otherwise, everything looks similar.
Among its specifications, it is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 685 chipset, to be announced soon as the higher clocked version of the Snapdragon 680. It is expected to have a 6.67-inch screen with Full HD resolution, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro MP and 13 megapixel front.
So far there is no precise date for the presentation of the Redmi Note 12, but considering that it is already in the hands of the store employees, the reveal should take place shortly. According to rumors it should cost 279 euros (about R$ 1,570 in conversion) for the variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
