Netflix wins record bid for horror film starring Jessica Chastain

Netflix is ​​going to make a horror movie that every studio is picking up called I Am Not Alone. The project is an adaptation of a 22-page story written by Chris Hicks.

The story follows a mother whose daughter, who suffers from migraines, sees creatures that only she can see. Described as a mix of science fiction and horror, the feature film is already talking about it.

Five major studios were interested in the project. After several offers, Netflix and Warner Bros. participated, but in the end it was the streaming platform that won the auction with a six-figure contract.
