Netflix is going to make a horror movie that every studio is picking up called I Am Not Alone. The project is an adaptation of a 22-page story written by Chris Hicks.
The story follows a mother whose daughter, who suffers from migraines, sees creatures that only she can see. Described as a mix of science fiction and horror, the feature film is already talking about it.
Five major studios were interested in the project. After several offers, Netflix and Warner Bros. participated, but in the end it was the streaming platform that won the auction with a six-figure contract.
Media Deadline It also explains that a contract worth almost five million dollars has been signed for Misha Green, who is the author and director of the film. The filmmaker is best known for creating the Lovecraft Country series.
Jessica Chastain is already attached to the project as an actress, but also as a producer. This is not the first time that a Hollywood star is in trouble. It was already the poster for Guillermo del Toro’s Mama, Crimson Peak and this – Chapter 2.
Recently, the actress played one of the main roles alongside Eddie Redmayne in another Netflix movie, Murder Without a Prescription.
