Joker: Suicide Squad director regrets this minor physical detail

Hitting theaters in 2016, Suicide Squad didn’t really go over well with both critics and the public. In particular, under the direction of Margot Robbie and Will Smith, the DC feature film was primarily distinguished by Jared Leto’s inhabited performance in the Joker’s skin.

in social networksDirector David Ayer recently revealed his regrets about his version of the bad guy he portrayed.

When a fan asks him why Joker has a tattoo on his forehead (pun intended “damaged”which means “the gap”), David Ayer first politely answers the question before noting that he shouldn’t have given that physical detail to the character.

“It was a way for the Joker to ‘troll’ Batman after the latter knocked him out with his teeth”– says the American film director. “It’s the only aesthetic choice I regret. I’ve been criticized a lot for it.”
