Wicked is a prologue to The Wizard of Oz and hits theaters in 2024
Wicked, adaptation of the musical of the same name, had its release date advanced. Previously scheduled for December 25, 2024, now the film should hit theaters on November 27, 2024, according to the director, Jon M Chu.

“We are immersed in the production of Wicked. Every day we get more excited to share the shenanigans we’ve been up to. So… we decided to come to you a little earlier than planned. Our new premiere date is November 27, 2024! A little treat for Thanksgiving,” chu wrote (via Omelet).
The film will still feature a second part, scheduled for about a year after the premiere of the first film.
