ET Canada reports that a new comedy series starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson is being prepared for release. The 10-episode show will be produced by Apple TV+. David West Reid, writer of the sitcom Shitts Creek, is writing the script. According to media reports, McConaughey and Harrelson will play themselves.

The series does not yet have an official title, but it is known that the story will unfold around the friendship of the actors, who, according to the plot, will unite their families and settle together at the McConaughey ranch in Texas. It’s unclear if this will be a reality show format, but fans of the film duo are already in anticipation.

McConaughey and Harrelson will reunite onscreen nearly 10 years after the first season of HBO’s acclaimed True Detective series, where they played partners on the hunt for a serial killer. But this was not their first collaboration. Prior to that, they starred together in the films “Welcome to Hollywood”, “TV Ed” and “Surfer”.

By the way, Woody Harrelson attended the recent birthday party of the daughter of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Vida. Alves shared a photo from the holiday on social networks, calling the actor “Uncle Woody” in a post. And last week, McConaughey’s wife took Vida and eldest son Levi to Stella McCartney’s fall/winter show during Paris Fashion Week.
