Netflix: This popular superhero series is leaving the platform

More Ultra yes, but not for long on the other hand. My Hero Academia animated series, one of the most popular manga adaptations of recent years, will definitely leave the catalog of the Netflix platform at the end of the month.

Adapted from the eponymous manga by Kohei Horikoshi (35 volumes available from Ki-oon), My Hero Academia follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya, a young hero. Although 70% of the population has a Quirk, he has no superpowers. But everything changes when the most powerful superhero All Might, fascinated by the courage of the teenager, decided to make him his successor and give him his one-for-all.

Netflix did not own the rights to the entire series, as the first two seasons of the program were previously offered on the platform (Season 6 currently airs weekly on Crunchyroll in simulcast). Keep in mind, though, that the platform is releasing a live-action film adaptation of My Hero Academia soon!

My Hero Academia seasons 1 and 2 will leave the Netflix catalog on March 31st.
