Trashy and tragic, this series inspired by an incredible true story is back on Prime Video

For a surreal and tragic story inspired by the news

Victor (Flavio Tollesan), an incorruptible policeman, has dedicated his life to fighting crime. His specialty? Dismantling the most dangerous cartels in Brazil.

But desperate to distance his family from the gritty reality of his work, Victor ends up with his son, Pedro Dom (Gabriel Leone, soon to star in Ferrari alongside Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz).

Despite his angelic face and his father’s reputation, young Pedro is thrown into a whirlwind of dramatic events that turn him into a dangerous criminal.

Inspired by the true story of notorious 2000s criminal Pedro Dom, this family drama with Shakespearean accents is much more grounded than meets the eye and depicts the workings of the notorious Brazilian cartels with some realism.

For the brutality of this urban thriller

Bloody revenge, muscular police raids, coca mountains that would make the most experienced climbers dizzy… all the ingredients are there to make this series the dose of adrenaline that the audience needs.

In addition to the seriousness of the story inspired by real events, Dom also shines with the nervousness of its editing and its action scenes, which are more numerous than one might think. Pedro Dom’s Descent into Hell should therefore be reserved for the least sensitive of viewers, as it combines all the elements characteristic of the violence of its subject.

Because the second season just arrived on Prime Video!

After its first season aired in June 2021, Dom is back on Prime Video starting March 17 with 6 new episodes. Although the third season is already in development and should complete the dangerous odyssey of one of the most legendary criminals, this addition to the Prime Video catalog is a great opportunity to refresh your mind!

New episodes of Dom are available starting March 17, exclusively on Prime Video.
