This week has been full of announcements and presentations about artificial intelligence, but it has still been a busy time for application and operating system updates. To keep you updated on everything that has come out in the last few days, the canaltech lists all updates released to the public recently.



There were additions in Windows 11, updates to Firefox and Edge, more features in Whatsapp and many new features based on artificial intelligence. Below, you can see everything that has been released in the last few days.

Windows 11 What’s New Pack

You Third-party widgets are finally available for everyone on Windows 11. Users can finally take advantage of application add-ons from outside the Microsoft. Improvements to Notepad and Snipping Tool also make up the new set. The update is deployed to computers running Windows 11 22H2.

Firefox 111 and Edge 111

The week was marked by another round of browser updates. Firefox 111 marked the release of Firefox Relay email redirection and other structural changes, while the Microsoft Edge 111 presented news with Bingadding Copilot with artificial intelligence and security improvements.

Multiple profiles on Android TV

OR The Android TV system has finally received support for multiple profiles. Switching between accounts lets you control that person’s watchlist, purchases, rentals, and recommendations.

So the new Android TV UI (not to be confused with the Google TV UI) is rolling out profile support (courtesy of @GenesisDH), I guess the old UI won’t benefit from that, especially for i countries where Google has not implemented that UI.

WhatsApp extract text from images on iPhone

OR WhatsApp for iPhone can now extract text from images sent or received in the app. The feature takes advantage of iOS 16 resources to work, so you need to update your system to try it.

Reset the TikTok algorithm

Finally the TikTok allows you to reset the content recommendation algorithm from the “For you” tab. The irreversible option has been added to the settings menu and can be an interesting alternative to regain control over feed deliveries.
