Good news for Doctor Who fans! The BBC recently announced that David Tennant and Catherine Tate are set to return in the 14th season of the cult series on the occasion of their 60th birthday. The announcement comes just a week after the announcement of the name of the 14th doctor who will be camping for sex education star Nakut Gatu.
The cult duo will reunite after an 12-year absence in an episode that was due to air in 2023. For the time being, the creators of the series have not said anything about the couple’s contribution to the upcoming season.
David Tennant first joined TARDIS in 2005 as the 10th Time Lord. He said goodbye to the series in 2010 and gave way to Matt Smith. Catherine Tate played her partner Donna Noble.
The doctor and Donna parted ways when the time lord had to erase his memory to save his life. He left a warning to his family: if he ever remembered anything from the past, he would die, the power he wielding threatened his brain.
