John Wick 4: The Saga’s Most Violent Movie? What is banned from its theatrical release?

The release of a new episode of John Wick guarantees an effective and well-staged show where violence is not left out. And this after the first opus, which was released in our cinemas in October 2014 and is prohibited for children under 12. Like 2 and, today, 4.

Is it really surprising? He and not. Since its inception, Saga has never been for every audience. But one would think that Episode 4, with its 2:49 hours (and thus the possibility of a much higher number of deaths), would have been stronger than the previous one, which remains the only film in the franchise to this day. Received under 12 ban with warning.

Still directed by Chad Stahelski, who has been at the helm of John Wick since the first (which he co-signed with David Leitch), this fourth installment is therefore fully in line with the previous installments. But even more pronounced on an international scale, as the story takes us from New York to Paris, Tokyo and Berlin.

But don’t worry, fans who were afraid of gasping for breath at the Keanu Reeves-played murder: the saga’s DNA is still very much present in this deluge of action and violence that shouldn’t stand in front of everyone.
