On May 25, after a few weeks on air, TF1 decided to stop airing the unreleased season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy to make way for another flagship medical series.
And after almost a year of waiting, the Ellen Pompeo-directed fiction is finally set to make its big comeback on Wednesday 12 April from 9.10pm on TF1. The broadcast resumes from the 16th episode of the 18th season.
The opportunity to find Gray Sloan Memorial Doctors faces new challenges, and Meredith must make a choice that could change her life.
At the end of episode 15, the Doctor is offered a permanent position at the Minnesota hospital he’s been sharing some of his time with since the start of the season. Will she agree to leave Seattle to start a new life with Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman), her new lover?
Meanwhile, Jo (Camilla Ludington) continues to see the brother of one of her patients, Todd (Skylar Astin). A relationship that Link (Chris Carmack) gradually envies. In the end, Amelia (Katerina Scorsone) pursues a perfect love affair with Kai (ER Fightmaster), while Maggie (Kelly McCreery) and Winston (Anthony Healy) have to deal with the arrival of the latter’s brother.
Return of iconic characters
The 18th season of Grey’s Anatomy was marked by the return of several iconic characters, including Kate Walsh, who will also be in the 16th episode. But it won’t be the only one, because in the 20th episode, which will be the 400th Gray Sloan memorial of the medical series, the two leading actors will return.
Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew really reprise their roles as Jackson and April for a double episode rich with twists, to the delight of fans of the medical series.
