As I’ve been saying for a while, I’m really looking forward to getting back into horror (as well as trying new things). After six years of Shazam!, definitely enough superheroes for now. One thing I was really looking forward to is disconnecting from the superhero talk online. It stresses me a lot and it will be nice not to have to think about it anymore.

In an interview with Hollywood reporterone of the writers of the sequel says that the renewal of the franchise for an upcoming film depends on the box office.
There are really informal conversations with all of us (about a sequel) but nothing definitive because the movie has to go really well and we can really commit after that. I think it just depends on the success of the film. But, you know, these kids aren’t getting any younger, so we’ll know sooner or later.
