Named “The Locked Hand, the Little Spaniard and the Future “, this episode shows a young Sheldon (Ian Armitage) at the first signs of puberty. In this case, comedians Penny and Teller embody his problems.
“We looked very funny at the idea of embodying acne and wondered who would be the ideal person to play with.Shouraner explained to the site TVLine. “When we settled on Pen, he was so perfect for the role that it was hard not to think about Teller while thinking about him. When Penny agreed to do this, we tested the water and asked if they wanted to play the role of acne and pustule together. They were all there and it was a real pleasure to work with them from start to finish.“
