Lady Gaga in Harley Quinn: her costume revealed on the set of Joker 2

After announcing her presence opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux, fans of Lady Gaga and Harley Quinn’s character (one of the most popular in the DC universe) have been eagerly waiting to discover the approach chosen. Anti-Heroine and Clown Prince of Crime’s companion costume for this sequel.

The photo shoot, which was taken this Saturday, March 25, in midtown Manhattan, New York, shows for the first time the wardrobe of the character, who is here facing the police and a demonstration of support for the “clown”.

If this first costume (maybe there will be others in the feature film?) is obviously not as extravagant as the ones worn by Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad, we can mention the traditional red and black costume. Harley Quinn colors as well as a bra and harlequin stockings that should make fans happy.

Lady Gaga’s makeup, with a vertical black line over each eye, is clearly reminiscent of Joaquin Phoenix’s makeup in 2019’s first Joker.

Still directed by Todd Phillips, but this time billed as a musical, Joker: Folie à deux is expected in French cinemas on October 2, 2024. As its title suggests, between romance and madness, it must throw us into the corridors of Arkham Asylum to tell about the meeting between Harley Quinn and her beloved clown.
