“He’s bolder and more strategist than we’ve ever seen him.”
The actor of ‘Succession’, Nicholas Braun, has announced that his character will experience “big and daring” moments in the fourth and final season of the series.
The latest batch of the HBO series premiered on March 26, and its new episodes portend plenty of drama for the Roy family.
In an interview with Deadline, Braun was talking about the final season and the paths his character, Greg Hirsch, would follow.
“Season Four Is Big For GregBraun admitted. “Greg is on trial and comes across as a different guy – he is bolder and more strategist than we have ever seen him. He has always been a guy who has tried to play on all sides and this season he is leaning really in that.“
Braun, who has been nominated twice for a Primetime Emmy Award by his interpretation, he also spoke of the possibility of a spin-off of the series, saying: “I’ve been making jokes that we’ve got a green light and that we’re going to start shooting soon but, no, there isn’t.“.
“It’s fun to talk about it, but we are focused on this: it is the main event of our lives,” he continued. “This is the best creative experience I think any of us have ever had. I appreciate that people want to know more about Greg. Feels good, but enjoy the season. You are going to have a good dose of what you like.“
Braun isn’t the only cast member to have spoken about the possibility of a spin-off or continuation. J Smith-Cameron recently claimed that she would be delighted to reprise her ‘Succession’ character, Gerri Kellman.
“It could be like a version of ‘Better Call Gerri’, where everything revolves around her and the different cases, I don’t know. I’m kidding,” he said. “I don’t think there should be a series about Gerri per sebut I do think there could be some sort of sequel to the series, with or without Gerri. I think there’s a lot of material.”
‘Succession’ has its first three seasons available on streaming on HBO Max. The fourth season of the series airs weekly on HBO Max.
