Les Trolls (2016) and its sequel Les Trolls 2 – World Tour 2020, Poppy and Branch are back for a third psychedelic adventure on the big screen!
Directed by Walt Dorn, now on his second opus at the helm, the feature film recalls the youth of Branch, always voiced by Justin Timberlake in the original version and Matt Pokora in French. Anna Kendrick again provides the voice of Poppy in the American version and Vitaa reprises the role in French.
After two movies that end up being passed on to each other, Poppy and Branch are officially hooking up (#broppy)! When they have no more secrets from each other, Poppy makes an incredible discovery about Branch’s past. At that time, together with his four brothers, Floyd (Troy Sivan), John Dory (Eric Andre), Spruce (David Diggs) and Clay (Kid Cudi), they formed the hottest boy band of the moment, BroZone. When he was still a child, the band broke up, as did the family, and Branch hasn’t seen his siblings since.
Brozones
But when Floyd, the eldest of the siblings, is kidnapped by the worst pop stars, Velvet and Wenner, who seek his musical talents, Branch and Pop embark on a thrilling and exciting adventure to unite the rival brothers and save Floyd. A fate worse than living in the pop culture bin.
True to its previous opus, Dreamworks’ animated film is colorful and punctuated by pop classics and new titles.
Announced to hit our theaters on October 18, 2023, Les Trolls 3 is Dreamworks’ second animated film to hit theaters this year, following Ruby, the Kraken Teen, scheduled to hit our theaters on June 28.
