John Wick Studio wants more films from the Keanu Reeves franchise

“John Wick 4: Baba Yaga“ just hit theaters and is an absolute hit. So much so that Lionsgate, the studio producing the franchise, doesn’t want to “let go” with Keanu Reeves, who plays the protagonist.

Despite John Wick’s clear end in the film, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president Joe Drake has revealed he’s not ready to say goodbye to the actor.

There are many different things we can do. I have seen this movie five times in the last week.

Within a short time of release, ‘John Wick 4’ broke the box office record of the franchise. It earned $137.5 million worldwide (about $73 million in the US alone) in its first weekend.

The film was also a critical success, holding a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – another high for the sequel – and a 3.5-star rating from the New York Post, which described it as “100 miles At that time”.

Is Keanu Reeves back?

The president of Lionsgate has squandered the optimism and even the actor interpreter of John Wick has not ruled out a return. He told Entertainment Weekly:

I don’t know, I guess I’ll have to rely on never say never. I mean, I wouldn’t make a John Wick movie without it [o diretor] Chad Stahelski. We should see how it goes. To me it seems very certain that John Wick will find peace.

reeves confirmed his participation in “Ballerina,” a “John Wick” spin-off at SXSW, but has said he will not be a part of “The Continental.”
