The former president has declared that he does not intend to visit the demonstrators arrested after the anti-democratic acts that took place in Brasilia on 8 January. Bolsonaro also said that he will support a CPI aimed at investigating the attacks that took place in the Federal District.

As for the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Bolsonaro said he will not make an irresponsible opposition and listed what he called mistakes, such as the increase in ministries and the progress of the MST.

The former president said last year’s elections were “a page turned,” indicating he will not continue to press the scrutiny button at the polls or criticize the current electoral system.

Regarding Covid-19, Bolsonaro has criticized vaccination and praised the freedom to express oneself on American soil, which, according to him, does not happen in Brazil.

As for the jewelry, the former president downplayed it, saying “I don’t know the reason for all this scandal. Nothing has been lost, nothing has disappeared.” Bolsonaro said he only regretted handing over his weapons, which were something of a personal nature.
