Camelot: This actor regrets turning down Alexandre Astier’s series

The character of Camelot could have had a completely different face! We hear from actor Tom November, who turned down a guest role in Alexandre Astier’s medieval comedy series.

A talented actor, Novembre was one of the recurring characters in Caméra Café, in which he portrayed Stanislas Priviszewski, an employee of a rival company who hated the character of Ivan Le Bolok. At the end of the series, M6 was looking for a project to replace the Camera Café and turned to Kaamelott.

Except this time, when offered an appearance, Tom November said “No,” as he told Jordan De Luxe at C8. TV 7 days):

I regret that Camelot could not convince him sooner. They invited me as a guest. And at that time I said to myself, “Oh no, I just made a camera cafe, they want to take over…”

Obviously, Kaamelott became as much of a popular success, if not more, than Camera Café at the same time. For refusing to appear there, Tom November makes his mea culpa:

“Today I announce that I made a mistake and apologize to Alexander Astie and the authors. I had to go there blindfolded. When I saw how he looked after that, I thought, “Oh, what an idiot! “”

However, her instincts did not deceive her as she remembers almost saying yes to Alexandre Astier, his well-drawn characters and his punchy dialogues:
