This is the N°1 series on Netflix right now: Night Agent, a fiction created by Sean Ryan (The Shield) and adapted from the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. Subscribers of the platform are excited by the adventures of FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who finds himself in a conspiracy and must save the nation and his own life.
Its success on the platform allowed it to quickly pick up a second season, much to the delight of fans. While waiting to discover the sequel to Night Agent, fans of the action and spy series will be happy to know that Netflix is working on a similar project.
Serial adaptation of “Man on Fire” is in production!
American media The Hollywood Reporter The streaming giant has ordered an adaptation of the literary series, exclusively revealed man on fire By Philip Nicholson (pseudonym of AJ Quinnell).
The first novel has already had two adaptations on the big screen: Eli Churaki’s film Man on Fire, released in 1987, and another feature film Man on Fire by Tony Scott, starring Denzel Washington, released in 2004.
The Netflix series adapts the first two novels of the five books that make up the Age Quinn series. It will consist of 8 episodes and will be written and produced by Kyle Killen (HALO, Lone Star), who will also serve as showrunner.
To recall, Man on Fire tells the story of John Creasy, a broken ex-mercenary who makes it his mission to avenge the death of his only friend while protecting his fallen comrade’s daughter from the forces that destroyed his family.
