Adaptation of the book Flight portfolio By Julie Orringer, Transatlantique is inspired by the true stories of Varian Fry, Mary Jane Gold and the Emergency Committee. The mini-series introduces us to Marseilles in the 1940s, where men and women risk their lives to help more than 2,000 refugees escape from occupied France. Among them many artists, an international group of young heroes and their famous protégés occupy a villa on the outskirts of Marseille…
