The actress will reprise the role of Nossa Senhora in O Auto da Compadecida 2
Good news for fans of Brazilian cinema: Fernanda Montenegro will reprise the role of Our Lady in the wake of The Auto da Compadecida (2000). The information was confirmed by the column of the Monica Bergamoat Folha de S.Paulo.

The Auto da Compadecida 2 is scheduled for 2024 and will be directed by Guel Arraesalso responsible for the first film, and Flavia Lacerda. The plot is based on the play by Ariano Suassunawho passed away in July 2014 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
