‘How I Met Your Father’ When will the second season be released?

Eighteen years ago the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ premiered. Soon the series became an absolute phenomenon on television.. The story of how Ted Mosby told his two children in 2023 how he was looking for love continued for nine seasons until it came to an end in 2013.

Such was the success, whether you liked the outcome or not, that a spin-off or some kind of continuation of the series was soon thought of. Although there was a first attempt at a new story with Greta Gerwig at the helm, the project never saw the light of day. So years later, when that failed attempt had been left behind, another new story was launched, ‘How I Met Your Father’ now with Hilary Duff at the helmin which we met Sophie, whose adult version played by Kim Cattrall, tells her son via videoconference how she met her father.

The series has not managed to fully convince the public as its predecessor did. Although I liked the creation of such diverse characters, the gags did not work as well as in ‘How I Met Your Mother’. However, with its pros and cons, the series will have a second season to finish Sophie’s story, which closed with a great cliffhanger in the last episode of the first season.

The first season arrived at Disney in the spring, while in the United States, Hulu premiered it in January.
