The charity action involving the best soccer players in the world managed to raise 275,000 reais for the populations affected by the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on March 31st. In recent weeks, the players chosen for the selection of the best in the world of the FIFPRO World 11 had auctioned signed shirts on the platform Shirt worn with the aim of raising funds for the victims.
In all there are 44 shirts up for auction, all signed and one framed by each player. Of the 44 items, 36 have already sold so far, with the rest going to auction in the coming weeks. The jerseys of Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland were the garments sold for the highest values. PSG’s French articles have received offers worth more than R$28,000.

All campaign shirts have been donated and autographed by the players themselves, and have even received an exclusive FIFPRO World 11 patch featuring a message of support for Turkey and Syria, making each shirt more special and collectable. The charity action was an initiative born out of the partnership between FIFPRO (International Federation of Professional Players’ Associations) and MatchWornShirt, a renowned platform for auctioning off shirts used by athletes.
The amounts raised from the auctioned items go to campaigns that aim to build homes for those who lost their homes in the earthquake. In line with other initiatives in support of the earthquake victims, MatchWornShirt has also promoted other charity auctions of shirts with funding for Turkey and Syria, with the participation of players from all over the world.
