The event aimed to establish nautical culture in the region and generate short- and long-term business.
The city of Aracaju (SE) was the stage for the second edition of the Barco Show in 2023, a fair that brought together 12 exhibitors from the nautical sector and attracted more than 1,000 people in the two days of its realization in Orla Pôr do Sol Jornalista Cleomar Brandi, in Mosqueiro, at the Prainha Bar restaurant.
The event was supported by the Municipality of Aracaju, through the Secretariat of Tourism. Select Investimentos Hangar was the sponsor of the second edition of the Barco Show, which aimed to establish the nautical culture in the region and generate short- and long-term business. The fair is part of Barco Show Eventos’ expansion project in the north and north-east of Brazil.
During the Barco Show, visitors were able to get to know different proposals for boats, equipment and services for the nautical sector up close, as well as participate in conferences and workshops on the subject. The presence of exhibitors from different parts of the country ensured a wide range of products and solutions for the visitors.
For Hugo Leonardo, managing director of the Barco Show Aracaju Festival, the exhibition was a success and managed to meet visitors’ expectations. “They were two incredible days, with a lot of nautical culture, a programming that satisfied all the visitors and an apotheotic ending, after a trip in a convoy of boats along the bed of the Vaza Barris river, exploring natural attractions such as Ilha dos Namorados, Praia do Viral, Crôa do Goré, VIDAM Náutico and a heavenly festive end at Prainha Bar, with the most beautiful majestic sunset in Brazil saying see you soon, because the Barco Show Aracaju Festival edition is already scheduled at the Town Hall management.
During the event, Hugo Leonardo, CEO of Barco Show Eventos, commented on the importance of organizing the Barco Show Aracaju Festival for the city and for the expansion of nautical culture in the region. “This Saturday, the 1st, we closed the Barco Show Aracaju Festival, a nautical event of great success and repercussion, which paved the way for us to advance in nautical tourism in our capital”.
Hugo also thanked the support of Mayor Edvaldo Nogueira and the Aracaju Tourism Secretariat for their support in holding the event.
The first Barco Show 2023 had more than 30 exhibitors from the nautical segment in the capital of Bahia, Salvador, at the beginning of the year. The event was held at the Tourist Terminal and saw the participation of the main companies in the sector. The hybrid proposal of the fair, that is also giving the possibility to test motorboats, jets and boats in Baía de Todos-os-Santos, was a difference compared to the Barco Show.
The idea, according to Hugo Leonardo, managing director of the exhibition, is not only to increase sales but to bring more options to the region. In sequence, Barco Show Eventos will promote this year’s Barco Show Amazonas in the format of a boat show, in the capital Manaus. The meeting is part of the project to expand and implement the nautical culture in the north and northeast of Brazil.
