‘Stranger Things’ prepares its first spin-off: an animated series

‘Stranger Things’ is expected to come to an end with the fifth season of the series, but it seems that this will not be the definitive end of Hawkins and all the stories from other dimensions or eighties plots. It has now been announced that there is a spin-off on the way. And it is that a universe of this nature is ready to expand. Neither the fans nor Netflix seem to be ready for the franchise to be terminated. So, as we learn details of the fifth and final season, it seems that the company with the red N is already preparing for the next project in the franchise in a whole new way. And this new series will be animated. Almost nothing.

According to the first rumors that appear in the media, This series has been in the making for quite some time.. According to Variety, the details about this animated project are kept secret. Eric Robles and Flying Bark Productions have been hired to develop the new series. Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen are executive producers with the creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers. The nostalgic halo and the paranormal stories are assured in this new plot.

“We’ve always dreamed of an animated ‘Stranger Things’ in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons we grew up with, and seeing this dream come true has been absolutely thrilling,” the Duffers said in a statement. Is there more spin-off on the way?

In recent months, the news about new projects that would be born from ‘Stranger Things’, one of the great original series on Netflix. Spin-offs of the famous production have apparently been in development for the past few years, but it wasn’t until recently that it was officially confirmed that it was actually a new spin-off that takes the Netflix series in a whole new direction.
