There is a risk of heavy rain in several capital cities in the Midwest, North and Northeast. Dry air prevails in the central-south of the country.
Cloud cover over Brazil
A cold front moves away from Brazil, along the coast of Espírito Santo and southern Bahia. The warm humid air that predominates in the central-north of the country favors the growth of heavily charged clouds over the north, north-east and part of the central-west of Brazil.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone remains active and brings rain clouds to the country’s north coast.
A dry polar air mass reduces cloud cover and rain conditions over southern Brazil, parts of Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and parts of Minas Gerais.
