While there is talk that William Levy could play the late Andrés García in his biopic series, the actor is premiering “Montecristo,” a drama, action, and revenge series that will be available on ViX.
“Montecristo” is directed by Alberto Ruiz-Rojo and produced by William Levy himself, in addition to Secuoya Studios, Sergio Pizzolante and Jeff Goldberg.
The ViX original series starring the actor from ‘The Warrior’ (which you can watch on ViX) is based on the literary work ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas and is coming to the platform on April 14, 2023.

“Montecristo”: how great is the new William Levy series on ViX
The modern adaptation of the series is about Alejandro Montecristo (William Levy), the founder and CEO of a new technology company whose success has created envy and danger around its owner.
Alejandro Montecristo is an enigmatic figure, and his rapid rise to fame and fortune has the world’s elite questioning and questioning the origins of his fortune and mysterious past.
One of the people seeking to unravel Monte Cristo’s past and take over his company is Fernando Álvarez Mondego (Roberto Enríquez), a businessman connected to the Spanish aristocracy.
But Fernando does not know that he met Montecristo in the past and in fact the protagonist does not care about fame, he just wants to take revenge on the businessman after he was unjustly imprisoned 18 years ago on the charge of murder.
Who’s who in ‘Montecristo’, the new ViX series?
In addition to the TV lead role of William Levy as Alejandro Montecristo and Roberto Enríquez as Fernando Álvarez Mondego, the series has a large cast of recognized stars.
Esmeralda Pimentel also stars in “Montecristo” as Haydée Hernández, Montecristo’s right-hand man and an expert cyber hacker. while Franky Martin plays Jackie, Montecristo’s loyal driver.
Similarly, Juan Fernández is Cristóbal Herrera, an aristocratic Spanish ambassador in Havana, and Silvia Abascal plays Mercedes Herrera, the daughter of this mysterious ambassador.
Finally, Itziar Atienza also appears in the cast as the Cuban lawyer Helena Vilaforte, Guiomar Puerta as Alba Mondego, daughter of Mercedes and Fernando.
The exclusive series with William Levy and all its episodes will be available from April 14, 2023, only on ViX.
