Released last December, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man’s third adventure in Marvel’s cinematic world, is full of surprises and story changes.

Indeed, at the beginning of this new feature film by Tom Holland, Peter Parker suddenly finds himself without a mask. Revealing his secret identity to the general public, he is suddenly accused of killing Quentin Beck, nicknamed Mystery. Which seriously damages his reputation and destroys his social life (as well as that of his loved ones).

To fix everything, he decides to contact one of the Avengers’s former teammates: the mighty Dr. Strange. Thanks to a special spell, the latter must give him a change of reality and make everyone forget who the human spider really is. But after the consistent hesitation of a young man during surgery, everything goes wrong and the multi world changes.

A particularly important event that will be followed by other reality characters such as Dr. Octopus, Green Goblin, Electric … and two other Peter Parkers performed by Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

However, this massive uprising was not caused solely by the inconvenience of Spider-Man. Indeed, as MCU big boss Kevin Feig recently said, this new mess could happen because of another accident that happened at the end of the Loki series.

“There is always logic in madness, even in many worlds”Said the head of the MCU during the preview of Doctor Strange 2, with the microphone. marvel.com.

Loki and Sylvie did something at the end of their series that made everything possible. “He who stays” Not here anymore. And that led to a wizarding glitch in Spider-Man: No Way Home that drove the entire multiverse crazy about Dr. Strange 2. “

According to Kevin Feig, the anomaly that occurred during the Strange spell is directly related to Kang’s disappearance at the end of the lock. This twist, which has led to the division of the temporary stream into multiple unions, is therefore indeed the origin of this great uprising in many worlds.

As we could already doubt, this event is likely to be the culmination of Marvel’s new phase and will therefore be crucial for future adventures.
