The film’s protagonist in full-time cinema, Lor Pen returns to AlloCiné, in the company of director Eric Gravel, behind the scenes of this eye-catching and touching social thriller that you should not miss in the cinema.
From Dix pour cent onwards, Lor Pen plays very influential leading roles, portraits of women, intricate heroines, timed, with whom she can be easily identified. After Antoinette in Seven, for which she won César for Best Actress, and Une femme du monde, the actress starred in À plein temps, in Eric Gravel’s second feature film.
In Full Time, Lorraine plays the role of Julie, a single mother who struggles between daily rural life and a job as a maid in a Parisian palace. When he finally thinks he can see the end of the tunnel with the opportunity of a dream job, a general strike begins and paralysis occurs with transport. Julie’s already fragile balance is diminished and she risks sinking when she starts an angry race hoping to escape from her.
AlloCiné spoke with director Eric Gravel and actor Lor Calam, both of whom were crowned at the Venice Film Festival, where the film was presented with the Horizon Awards for Best Director and Best Actor. A charming and accomplished duo narrates the writing, filming and backstage of this stunning, exciting and terribly topical social film.
