In ‘Iron Man 2’ we saw how Pepper Pots wasn’t exactly happy with how Tony Stark looked at his new employee, a Natasha Romanoff we still didn’t know anything about. As if the fiction were real, there was the feeling that both actresses were competing.

    Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow have addressed claims that they had a dispute during the filming of ‘Iron Man 2’. The two stars appeared as Natasha Romanoff and Pepper Potts respectively in the 2010 film, and rumors were circulating at the time that they had a contentious relationship on set. Something that, in addition, was fed through the relationship of rivalry and jealousy between the two in the film.

    With his appearance in The Goop Podcast of Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and her hostess reminisced about their time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Johansson denied that they had a complicated working relationship.

    You were so nice to me in that movie. I was so petrified. You could have been awful. I was way out of my comfort zone in that movie. I had never done anything like this before. In addition, you had established very deep friendships.

    Paltrow made her debut as Pepper in 2008’s “Iron Man,” which launched the MCU, appearing in all three films in the trilogy, as well as guest appearances in “Infinity War” and “Endgame.”

    ‘Iron Man 2’ served as the MCU debut for Black Widow, with the actress appearing in the Avengers and Captain America franchises, as well as starring in their standalone prequel film in 2021 following her character’s passing.

    Robert Downey Jr, the main star of the Iron Man franchise, recently revealed that he missed appearing as Tony Stark in the MCU, saying, “What do I miss the most? Being in the trenches with Kevin Feige all the time; the beginning, with Jon Favreau, now it’s like a beautiful dream,” he said.

    He remembers about the middle of the adventure, with Shane Black in ‘Iron Man 3,’ when we had just finished filming, mostly in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was idyllic and subversive. But also the ending, when I realized I had made so many close friends in the cast and the Russo brothers were helping me embrace the outcome of Tony’s story arc.
