The New York Post showed the first footage from the resumed filming of the western “Rust”. It was on them that cameraman Galina Hutchins died from a shot from a gun in the hands of actor Alec Baldwin. You can see the photo Here.
The pictures show that Baldwin is holding the gun by the barrel, not pointing it at people. It is not known whether the actor does this for security reasons, or if the scene requires it. Baldwin previously claimed that even when he returned to filming, he would no longer work with real weapons. In other photographs, Baldwin’s hands are stained with fake blood.
In the film, Baldwin plays gunslinger Harland Rast. There is a bounty on his head. He must go to Kansas to save his grandson Lucas from the death penalty.

Recall that on April 21, New Mexico State Attorney’s Office dropped all charges against Alec Baldwin in the manslaughter of Galina Hutchins on the set of Rust. This decision was made after the appearance of evidence that the weapon that fired in the hands of the actor was loaded with live ammunition. At the same time, law enforcement officers noted that this decision against Baldwin “does not relieve him of criminal liability,” and the charges could be brought again.
A similar charge was brought against the film’s gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Her criminal case remained in force after the review. The woman faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Lawyers for Gutierrez-Rid said she did not intend to plead guilty in court.
