The end of the reign has come! Four weeks later, the action-thriller The Night Agent dropped out of Netflix’s global top 10 in English-language series. The Sean Ryan series took second place for the week of April 17-23, overtaken by La Diplomate starring Keri Russell.
The Diplomate, which debuted on April 20, logged 57.5 million viewing hours in its first few days on the service, narrowly surpassing The Night Agent’s 57 million viewing hours.
The Night Agent also confirmed its success by placing fifth on the list of the most popular English-language Netflix series of all time, with 626 million hours watched in the last 28 days. Thus, it is placed behind Season 4 of Stranger Things, Season 2 of Wednesday, Dahmer and Bridgerton.
Moreover, La Diplomate was quite well received by the press. Created by Deborah Kahn, the series has a 3.7 rating out of ten critics.
