Short Film Festival 2022: 150 films and events throughout France

From Wednesday, March 16, 2022, to Tuesday, March 22, 2020, visit and celebrate the short format of the 6th edition of La Fête du court œil. Many films are freely available.

The 2022 Short Film Festival will run from March 16 to 22. For a week, viewers will be able to learn about Corti magic at this free event open to everyone.

Following two online releases in the context of health, the Short Film Festival is making a big comeback this year in its usual format. There are 15,000 screenings, as well as events and meetings in more than 4,000 cities in France and 54 countries abroad.

For this new release, La Fête offers 150 films that are available throughout the duration of the event. The program combines films for all audiences with 4 types of programs and 5 topics (main, young audience, friends of short films, Tomorrow and Units).

More than 7000 places have been registered for film participation and broadcasting: Cinemas, schools, media libraries, cultural centers, university hospitals …


Animation, meetings or image training workshops will be held in several French cities to participate, exchange, learn and discover behind the scenes of cinema. It is always possible to experience the event online.

The event, sponsored this year by comedians Maud Wyler and Finne Oldfield, has commissioned 20 “ambassador” cities, making activities accessible to all.

Participate in the filming of films made for this occasion in Cain, in the seminar “Live Your Dudu” in Issy-les-Moulineaux, “1 screenplay, 4 film directors, 4 visions, read by 12 comedians.” In Paris, at the Open Air Cinema Metz, Ciné Sound Effects around the program “Etaix et ses peers” on the Brive, montage introduction to Toulouse or even a parkour: Reconstruction of footage between the ocean and the fields from the skin to the Reunion.

The sixth edition, which promises to be rich in discoveries to personally celebrate the return of the Short Film Festival.
