This is where it all begins: between joy and disappointment, Vic and Hortense welcome their mother to the institute

Eugene finds Hortense and Vic

The latter’s name is Eugene and he is portrayed by actress Sophie Duez. He arranged to meet his children in the park of a prestigious culinary school so that the three of them could meet.

Hortense seems glad to see her dear mother here. Jumps right into his arms. Eugene and the third year are very close and physically very similar: each wears big glasses and is blonde.

And Vicki is quite reserved and observant… Eugene does not share her and is content with stroking her hair quickly. She still insists she’s happy to be there, and for once instead of her husband, the father of the girls!

Eugene is already causing trouble

Hortense invites her mother to sleep in her room at the institute, but Eugene has already rented an apartment not far away. However, she suggests that her children have dinner together today… Vicky agrees, but Hortense is unavailable because she has classes.

Eugene is proud to see Hortense working hard and points out that she is his spitting image! She decides to postpone this meal even if Vicky sheepishly tells her that she is free to stay with him to eat… The first year is clearly annoyed by this inconvenience and prefers to leave.

The relationship between the Rochemonts is clearly not in good shape… moreover, it has been revealed that Eugene will suspect one of his daughters of a career behind the stove in the next episodes! Who will it be, Vicki or Hortense? Continued This is where it all begins, with some very interesting things on the horizon…
