With an infrastructure fully designed to accommodate the approximately 80 employees and athletes who will work, train and even live on site, the building, which has been completely renovated for this project, has over 3,000 m² equipped with the latest technology, a gymnasium, dormitories and offices. The facility houses the first physical Team Liquid store in the world, including space to receive fans of the various teams of the organization and professional players, organize community events with “meet & greet” and other possibilities.
The facility was created in collaboration between Team Liquid and Alienware, Dell’s line of high-end gaming computers, and is therefore officially called the Alinware Training Facility. OR Game start toured the facilities and spoke with executives from the esports organization and Alienware about the initiative and its impact on the Brazilian competitive scene.
“Brazil is a priority in Liquid’s plans and the new facility is another symbol of our investment in local talent and fans.“, he said Raffaele Queiroz, general manager of Team Liquid in Brazil. “Since early last year, we’ve announced Liquid’s first female line-up worldwide, brought the Liquid Store and Liquid+ platform to the country, launched partnerships with Marvel, Fortnite and Naruto, and attended major events, such as BGS and CCXP . We are and will remain very close to the cavalry community and the launch of this facility reflects the importance of the country within the organization’s overall strategy..”
For the executive, eSports has had a great growth during the pandemic years and now the market is going through a moment of ‘return to normal’. Even with the market cooling, Team Liquid continues to make long-term investments, including in Brazil. “It was an expected move, with people returning to normal life, a correction curve was natural.“, stressed Queiroz. “But the esports market will hover around $180, 200 million next year. Speaking for Team Liquid, we’re growing 30, 40% annually in Brazil. There is no downward trend in the esports market, just a natural correction in a market that has already proven to be solid and not a gamble.“.
state-of-the-art equipment

Team Liquid’s third Alienware Training Facility worldwide is approximately double the size of the other two, located in Los Angeles, USA and Utrecht, The Netherlands. For the maximum comfort and convenience of the athletes, the Brazilian building has five floors with 19 bedrooms with suites intended for the accommodation of the athletes of the Team Liquid teams, as well as areas dedicated to the practice of physical activities and psychological assistance for the talents, including gym, pilates and performance laboratory.
The facility also offers a floor totally dedicated to player training, with rooms equipped with Alienware Aurora R15 desktops, and two review rooms, where strategies and match performance analyzes will be carried out. In addition, soundproofed streaming booths and high-performance equipment, including three cameras and microphones, are available to the athletes for the production and transmission of live content via the Internet.

For Alienware, which took care of the entire infrastructure of computers, notebooks, servers, game rooms and training at the facility, the investment goes beyond the name on the shirt and the advertising of its machines into the life of content creators and matches of the teams of Team Liquid.
“At Alienware, we are thrilled to finally welcome the team and talent of Team Liquid to this facility we have built together with them to be a worldwide benchmark for excellence in esports.“, he said João Duarte, director of marketing for Dell Technologies in Brazil. “We worked with Team Liquid to develop a technology blueprint that starts with the IT infrastructure from Dell Technologies that will support the administration of the organization, to the high-performance equipment from Alienware that will empower these and future generations of gamers in teams based in Brazil”, explained the executive.
For players and fans

The Alienware Training Facility will also be a gathering place for local fans to celebrate their love for the organization. The building design includes a Fan Zone, which will occasionally host community events. On the ground floor of the building, visitors are greeted by the world’s first physical Team Liquid store, 136-inch and 86-inch screens featuring games and scenes from the history of the Cavalry, and an expansive shelf of Team Liquid trophies.
The Alienware Training Facility is located at Avenida Angélica, 903, in the Santa Cecília neighborhood in downtown São Paulo. Anyone interested in participating in events to get to know the place is required to follow the opening hours of the structure, which will be published on the official social networks of Cavalaria.
