Last December, Mikael Mittelstadt surprised everyone when he left Here It All Begins, the series that featured him, after less than two years in the shoes of Greg DeLobel. A very popular character in the community, who together with Eliot (Nicolas Anselmo) formed the pair “Greliot”, adored by fans of the TF1 series.
We recently met during the Canneséries festival, Sara Farrahmandi, this is where it all begins, the producer who introduced us to the following episodes, returned to our microphone for the first time during the departure of Mikaël Mittelstadt.
“Of course it had a bombshell effect, it’s always hard to let one of our actors go. It’s always so exciting to see them fly on their own.”He was asked if the announcement of Gregg’s translator’s departure last year had shaken the production offices and the network.
“Besides, Mikael has 10/10 everywhere in terms of quality of actor, acting, professionalism and human aspect. He’s definitely someone that when he tells us to leave, we’re like, “No, not you.” !” (laughs)”Sarah Farahmandi continues, full of praise for Michael Mittelstadt.
“When he left, he was very professional and kind. I only want one thing: to work with him again. This is where everything starts or on another project. It was announced and the moment to leave. We had time to enjoy his character and for him to write this very good release.”.
Originally planned a bit earlier, Greg’s farewell to the Auguste Armand Institute had to be postponed to give the writers more time to come up with a perfect story. And Greg’s interpreter, without hesitation, agreed to delay his departure for a few weeks.
“I went to him this summer to say, ‘We said the end of October, but we messed up our schedule a little bit, can you stay two more weeks?’ “Dream Arch”.
“Honestly, this is one of my favorite episodes”concludes Sarah Farrahmand of the final episode featuring Greg, which will be broadcast on December 30, 2022 on TF1. “We did something brilliant for Christmas, a very Christmas tale, we told each other I really love it (laughs). Mikael was exemplary and we tried to give him back everything he gave us..
As it all begins here, of course you know, Mikael Mittelstadt has just resumed shooting the series in Saint-Laurent-d’Aigu, with a new narrative arc celebrating the reunion of Greg and Elliott. And may be the last for a long time: “After this plot, the idea is to take a break without closing Double A’s doors for good if there are still great plots to protect.”He really trusted our colleagues at Télé Loisirs.
An intrigue that viewers will definitely not want to miss and which is set to air this summer on TF1. In the meantime, fans of the actress will be able to find her in Bardot on France 2, as Michael Mittelstadt lends his features to Gilbert Becco in a biographical series dedicated to Brigitte Bardot, which will air from Monday 8 May.
