Cillian Murphy Explains Why ‘Oppenheimer’ Will ‘Amaz A Lot’ People

Nolan’s long-awaited film has become one of the cinematographic events of the year.

We know that Cillian Murphy was “desperate” to star in ‘Oppenheimer’, but we didn’t know what he thought about the new Christopher Nolan movie.

Like all of Nolan’s films, the project has been shrouded in great secrecy, despite being based on the real life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, known as the father of the atomic bomb after World War II. Knowing the internal conflict of the character, we can be facing one of the saddest and most exciting movies to cry.

murphy did not reveal anything concrete about the secrets of ‘oppenheimer’but has insinuated that “there is a lot to talk about when we can do it freely” and, in turn, has stated that “it will really surprise” people.

“The question will be how Chris presents it”Cillian adds. “I think that people will stay very surprised and marveling for what it does. Anything I say is going to seem a little cheesy compared to seeing this in an IMAX theater.”

The ‘Peaky Blinders’ star did say he was quite intent on capturing Oppenheimer’s distinctive style because the man “seemed aware of his own potential.”

“I am very proud of the film and what Chris has achieved”Cillian added. “This was definitely special, of course because of the collaborative history between Chris and I. We weren’t going around the set high fives, but it was special.”

And he continued: “It’s an event every time he releases a movie, and rightly so. Whether I’m in them or not, I always go see his movies.”
