In this ten-episode comedy, the popular actor who brought Mr. Bean to life must face off against a bee.
Netflix continues betting on comedy series and for the return of popular faces, authentic heavyweights, to a genre that they not only know perfectly, but also from which they come. This month he premiered ‘El Pentavirato’ and ‘Ricky Gervais: SuperNature’which meant the return of Mike Myers (the iconic Austin Powers) and Ricky Gervais (‘The Office’) to make us laugh or shock us, depending on the case. The first, with a series focused on a reporter who, in order to get his job back, decides to investigate what is true about the existence of a secret sect that brings together five powerful men, and Gervais returned to the fray with his poignant and controversial monologues about any politically incorrect issue.
Continuing this trend, Netflix will premiere next June 24 ‘The man against the bee’, series starring Rowan Atkinsonthe one that gave life to one of the most remembered characters by all: mr beanprotagonist of some of the best sketches on television (and also in cinema) that, twenty years after its creation, still endure in popular memory.

Everything seems to be going well until the presence of a bee -of those who do not want to leave- unleashes a real battle of incalculable consequences.
Despite the fact that, at first glance, it may seem that we are facing a series focused on showcasing a single actor, Atkinson in this case, Lee Byford (‘Breaking the Rules: Rebellion), Jing Lusi (‘SAS: The Rise of the Black Swan’), Daniel Fearn (‘A Very British Scandal’), Chizzy Akudolu (‘Too Close’), asha kala (‘Master of None Presents: Moments of Love’), Tony McCarthy (‘The Pentavirate’) and Brendan Murphy (Spider-Man: Far From Home’) will accompany throughout this comedy of ten episodes to the protagonist of ‘Johnny English’ during this unusual and funny confrontation.
