goldhaber and his co-writer Isa Mazzei explained to The Wrap why they decided to remake the classic 1970s horror. They said: “’The Faces of Death’ was one of the first viral videotapes, and we are very lucky to be able to use it as a starting point.”
The film is already in the process of filming in New Orleans, USA, and still does not have a release date. Filmmakers know that the original sequel film was banned and censored for its graphic scenes, but it achieved cult status in the 1970s and 1980s.
