On HPI TF1: Guess the movie described by Morgan in today’s episode?

On Thursday, May 12, Morgan Alvaro returned to TF1 for the second season of HPI. Good news for fans of the character performed by Audrey Fleur, who were thrilled to find the lively and unbridled spirit of this cleaning lady who became an investigator.

And as in season one, this mother of three uses and abuses pop culture guidelines to help police solve the most difficult investigation, such as episode 5 of season 2, which airs tonight at 21:10 TF1.

After months of absence, Morgan finally returned to the police station to help the brigade investigate the murder of Judge Carol Masard, who was found dead in his office while he was preparing to stand trial. If investigators seek revenge on the part of the accused, the consultant, he very quickly realizes that the case is much more complicated than it seems at first glance.

While in the police station with Karadec, a young woman develops a theory: an unfaithful husband hides his wife, who killed his mistress. And to back up his idea, he describes the film without quoting.

Like in that movie, remember? With the actor, there, an old beauty, with a hat and then a whip. After all, he does not have a hat and a whip, because he plays the role of a lawyer in the film, and then the trial …“- She explains before Roxanne interrupts Karadek’s new girlfriend (Mehdi Nebibu).

The most curious may wonder what is the title of the movie that the protagonist mentions. This is a supposedly innocent, American feature film, directed by Alan J. Pakula and was released in 1990, portraying Harrison Ford, Indiana Jones’ cult translator (hence the hat and whip), in the role of a brilliant prosecutor.

His character suddenly finds himself accused of killing a young and ambitious colleague with whom he had recently had a tumultuous affair. And as Morgan Alvaro describes it, it was actually the prosecutor’s wife who killed her husband’s mistress.

Find HPI Season 2 every Thursday at 9:10 PM on TF1 with one new episode per week. Episodes are now fully available on Salto.
