Anais will replace Marta in Double A
Anais and Lisandro are talking about the wedding preparations in the institute park. Anais agrees to meet with the wedding planner her companion found. At the same time, the couple meets Theo. Lisandro calls to congratulate him on his job at Double A the other day. Theo takes the opportunity to emphasize how much Marta has helped him in the kitchen thanks to their great chemistry, which does not detract from Anais.
Later, the young woman meets Marta in the dressing room and has a discussion with her. Theo’s ex admits he’d love to replace Jude in the kitchen one more time. He then adds that he knows about the story between him and Anai, but he’s not going to complicate things. Charlene interrupts their conversation and advises her best friend to seduce her brother. Anais then works her nerves on her closet door.
She joins Salome and David in tears in the amphitheater. Anais tells them she can’t stand Theo working in the kitchen with her ex. But on the other hand, she doesn’t feel like she can break Lysandro’s heart. Once alone with Salome, David feels that their friend needs a hand to get out of the situation. He then sends a message to the Institute’s leadership to complain about Mara’s presence in the Double A Brigade.
Chef Armand then confronts Lisandro, Theo, and Marta, recalling that the latter has been expelled from the Institute and that he has no legitimacy to be the second in Double A. She asks Anais to help Theo for her. The latter takes it and takes it to the kitchen the next day.
At the park, Charlene suspects that Anais has set things up to steal Martha’s place in the kitchen. He says Marta’s only option left to continue her relationship with Theo is to join the Master. He is going to talk to his father, who will be back in two days from his trip to Seoul. Afterwards, Theo joins them to tell Martha how unfair he thinks he was kicked out of the team.
Meanwhile, Lisandro warns Anais that the wedding planner is available to meet with them in the evening. But Anais prefers to postpone because she has an appointment with Theo at the next day’s service. Lysandro begins to doubt. He turns to Deva to find out if she noticed any problems between Theo and Anais. But Deva claims to know nothing.
Later, Anais joins Theo in the kitchen. He wants to know why he agreed to help. Both of them don’t know that Deva is listening to their conversation. Anais replies that she had no choice but to accept the position. But he insists on remaining very professional, even if Theo doubts it’s possible. Witnessing the tension between them, Deva feels uncomfortable. Backup gets in the cart and alerts Theo and Anais to his presence. The young girl then crosses the kitchen to leave and apologizes for the inconvenience.
Back in the room, Deva tells David what just happened. He didn’t know the lunchbox story had gone this far. When her boyfriend tries to win her back, Deva feels compelled to tell Iniesta about it. He goes to the head waiter to talk to her…
Lionel discovers Lenglart’s bad reputation
After receiving a message from Langlart, who wants to see her at the studio after class, Kelly begins to think. Lionel then points out to her that he is often very stressed on these occasions. But Laetitia relativizes and accepts Thomas’s speech, according to which Lenglart chose Kelly for his talent, and requires him only to advance.
Later, Lionel asks Jasmine for her opinion on Lenglart. The girl admits that she is quite cash, but very professional. Faced with Lionel’s concerns about Kelly, Jasmine gets information online through restaurant industry forums. The two students then discover Lenglart’s bad reputation and testimonials that label him toxic.
Meanwhile, Kelly joins Lenglart in the studio. The latter tastes a cheese-based preparation, then shows how he fills it with zucchini flowers. Lenglart is going to show him all the steps to best prepare for the next lesson and prevent another disaster. Kelly is very grateful to the cook.
After which Kelly joins Lionel for a movie night. Happy and relaxed about her day, the young girl claims she had nothing to worry about about Lenglart. But Lionel believes that, on the contrary, he will have good reason to doubt. He tells her about what he saw online. Kelly immediately thinks that the messages she read were written by haters. Faced with Lionel’s insistence that he really cares about her, Kelly is upset. Lionel eventually lets the matter go so that it doesn’t rob him.
Rose chooses Solal to help her
At the park, Rose tells Solal that she has been chosen to help him with his book project. He really liked her cover letter. Once Rose is gone, Axel and Lionel continue to mock Solal and his love for the institute’s master director. Until they realize it’s not just a joke. They then advise Solal to avoid working with Rose if he really has feelings for her. But he continues to deny it.
Later, Solal joins Rose to discuss the subject of the book. He listens to her talk about her project: to get a feel for chefs’ experiences outside their kitchens. Thus, Solal is responsible for organizing the interviews with the chefs, but also for transcribing them cleanly. The young man is still as motivated. Rose informs him that they will start interviewing Chef Guino this afternoon.
The latter decides to make a lamb shoulder with candied lemon, since this is the first recipe he created when he arrived at the institute. Rose asks him about his background. Claire claims that after working in the brigades, she finally felt legitimate at the Institute, especially thanks to Auguste Armand, who gave her his way in discussing the nobility of gastronomy. Rose is very excited about this tribute to her father. Good-natured, Solal offers a break. Rose refuses, explaining that she’s still a little emotional when she’s being talked to when she had a falling out with her father.
At the end of the interview, Solal takes a picture of the chef’s plate to illustrate the book. Rose thanks him for his work, then instructs him to return a written transcript of the interview by the following week. Solal, who thought that they would do this stage together, hides his disappointment.
