Fans of The Young and the Restless recently saw a big change in Jack Abbott’s character. Indeed, in the episodes currently offered on TF1 (the series airs from Monday to Friday on the channel from 11 o’clock), the businessman no longer has the same voice!

But what is the reason for this change? Peter Bergman, the hero’s translator since 1989, actually just replaced the French dubbing. At the beginning of the series on the first page, it was Patrick Osmond who voiced Victor’s rival (Eric Braden). Unfortunately, after his death at the end of 2020, the main character has already been replaced by a voice actor…
That’s when George Cadron took over. However, the latter also died at the end of 2022. Because of this tragic disappearance, a third voice actor was hired to speak Moliere’s language to Jack… so the audience can now hear Eric O’Brien voicing Jack. fire of love
