Atalanta disqualified for insulting Vlahovic

Dea will play a match with one of the sectors of its stadium closed

The sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea has ordered the closure for one shift of the Atalanta fan sector responsible for the insults to the Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

According to the Italian sports authorities, the Bergamo team was punished for the “vulgar and offensive chants” of its fans at the player during the match between Atalanta and Juve.

The Nerazzurri club will have to comply with the sanction on May 20, the date of the match against Hellas Verona, fighting for the relegation zone.

In addition to the temporary closure of the so-called “Curva Nord Pisani”, Dea was fined 10,000 euros (R$54,900). This punishment, however, was also granted by virtue of throwing various objects on the field.

Despite dominating the match, Atalanta were defeated at home 2-0. The goals from the Old Lady were scored by Samuel Iling-Junior and Vlahovic. .
