and one more. Daredevil: Born Again , the upcoming Marvel revival on Disney+, is the latest New York-based series to experience production delays due to the WGA strike.

Daredevil: Born Again, filmed in and around New York City, began filming two months ago for a total of eight months on the new 18-episode season for Disney+.

Written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who are off set due to a strike, the new season focuses on the character of Charlie Cox, aka Daredevil, also known as Matt Murdock, a lawyer by day and crime fighter by night. Vincent D’Onofrio reprises his role as mob boss Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin.

Other main cast members include Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, Artie Froushan and Nicky M. James. As for Jon Bernthal, he also reprises his role as the Punisher in the series.

It’s the latest New York television production to be disrupted by the writers’ picket line. It joins Billions, Evil and Severance, among others.
